In-Person Lessons
Through private lessons you will learn how to play an instrument, and you will also develop skills that will serve you lifelong such as self-discipline, perseverance, and responsibility.
My goal as a teacher is to help each of my students develop their talents to their full potential, and to truly enjoy the music they are making. Parents are welcome to stay or drop off their children for lessons. For all beginners, I use the Alfred Books curriculum. It gives excellent step-by-step lessons in technique and note-reading.
For my intermediate students who have either completed or are already passed the entrance level books, I will work with you to choose real repertoire books in the five specific categories. (Lesson, Technic, Hymn, Recital, and Theory.) I will ask you questions about what type of music you want to play and what you plan to do with your music in the long-term. This will help me decide what type of piano books will be best for you to continue your piano education with me.
“ I am delighted that you are investing in music education!”
Psalm 33:3
Sing unto him a new song;
play skilfully with a loud noise.
“I want all of my music to be to the glory of God, for He is the Master Musician!”
